Thank you for signing up for lawn care services through the Lawn Legacy Project. We’re honored to serve you andgrateful for the opportunity to help maintain your yard with care, dignity, and respect.
Our goal is to make lawn care one less thing for you to worry about. Below, you’ll find important information abouthow our bi-weekly service schedule works and what you can expect once services begin.
Please note that Lawn Legacy Project operates with limited funding and capacity. Submitting a request does not automatically guarantee immediate service, but every application is reviewed carefully and placed into our scheduling system as space allows. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to serve as many households as possible.
Lawn Care Service Schedule
Lawn Legacy Project provides bi-weekly lawn care services during the active cutting season to eligible households within our current service area. Once approved for service, each household is placed into a rotational schedule and will receive lawn care once every two weeks.
How the Schedule Works:
- Clients are assigned to either Week A or Week B
- Lawn care is provided during the assigned week on a designated service day
- Exact arrival times may vary, but service will be completed within the scheduled week
Service Area & Availability:
Lawn Legacy Project currently serves Leland and Greenville, Mississippi. Services are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Enrollment is limited based on funding, staffing, and equipment availability. Once available slots are filled, eligible applicants may be placed on a waiting list until additional funding allows for expansion.
Weather & Schedule Adjustments:
Weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances may require schedule changes. If a service must be rescheduled, clients will be notified as soon as possible.
What to Expect on Service Day
Services Provided:
- Grass cutting (front and back yard)
- String trimming around walkways, driveways, and visible edges
- Light blowing of grass clippings from sidewalks, driveways, and porches
Arrival Time:
Crews arrive during normal daytime hours. Exact arrival times may vary due to weather, traffic, and the number ofyards scheduled that day. You do not need to be home for service to be completed.
Preparing for Your Service:
- Secure pets indoors or away from the work area
- Remove small items such as toys, hoses, or lawn décor if possible
- Unlock gates or provide access to fenced areas before service day
Services Not Included:
Landscaping, flower bed maintenance, tree trimming or removal, hauling, debris removal, fertilization, or chemical treatments are not provided at this time.
Weather Delays:
If weather conditions prevent safe service, your lawn will be serviced on the next available day within your assigned week or rescheduled if necessary.
